Sassy Scribblers Review and Giveaway

Sassy Scribblers is an Etsy shop run by Jeannie. Jeannie is a mom of two girls, who test out out her products! She sells sidewalk chalk scribblers, crayon scribblers and mini chalkboards. She has over 100 molds so if you do not see it in her store she probably can make it for you! Her sidewalk chalk it great for a fun spring and summer activity and her products also make fabulous party favors!

Her chalk is all washable and comes in several colors and many designs for both boys and girls.

I was sent three sets of sidewalk chalk scribblers: Under the Sea, Zoo Animals and Puzzle pieces. When I received the chalk I was very impressed, every piece was individually bubble wrapped and packaged to keep the chalk from breaking. My kids saw the package and immediately were so excited. Unfortunately, it was raining and we could not go outside and play!

When we finally had good weather I took the kids outside to play with the chalk (I was relieved because I was able to get my stir crazy kids out!) They loved the chalk, and had a great time (and I did too!) I had a hard time getting them to put the chalk away. We all loved Sassy Scribblers chalk and would definitely recommend it!

Mama's Felt Cafe Review and Giveaway!

Mama's Felt Cafe is an Etsy shop run by Brittany, a stay at home mom of a very cute little boy! Her shop sells original felt food sets and other felt toys. I love her felt foods they are so cute and very creative. Here are some of the food sets that she sells in her store:

I was sent an adorable Asian-inspired felt food set. The set that she sent me was sesame chicken with veggies (including the adorable pea pods), low mein and a fortune cookie. I love this set and the best part about it is that it is allergy friendly for my kids! Her felt food is great and I don't have to worry about it breaking or the paint getting chipped off like the plastic and wooden toy foods that you can purchase at the toy store. Brittany has also created a tutorial for her peapods on her blog. I also have two great sesame chicken recipe that is very allergy friendly. One is very similar to the felt food set. Her felt food is great and she has such original food ideas.

Four in One Bag Game

I totally love this game, I first saw something similar at a craft fair last year and realized how easy and inexpensive it was to make. It will also entertain a child for a while, on a trip or during quiet time, so how much better could it get?

Supplies:

Fabric and ribbon or string for your bag (or you could purchase a small bag) you do not need much fabric, my bag only measures 5" by 6"

Miscellaneous items (my bag contains 20 items, I would suggest at least 15 items)

Games you can play:

Memory- let your child see all the contents and then take one away, see if they can remember which item was taken away

Create a story- let your child create a story using the contents in the bag

Matching game- None of my items are alike but this matching game is to see which items are similar (ie: animals, foods, buttons, etc)

Color/shape game- match the items of the same color in the bag and let your child identify the color or shape.
